Updated: Feb 29, 2020
Augment Bionics was invited to the 9th annual 3D Printing Medical Conference to showcase its latest bionic prototype. Academics, doctors, nurses, engineers, designers, and managers were hosted at the MECC in Maastricht, The Netherlands, where they showcased the latest advancements in medical engineering and future prospects for development. The focus topics this year included Bio Printing, Dentistry and 3D printed surgical implants.
For Augment Bionics, the conference proved to be incredibly informative. We gained insight into legal and regulatory issues regarding 3D Medical printing applications; we received unique feedback on our prototype, providing us with more avenues for improvement; and, most importantly, we connected with leading academics and industry specialists, making preliminary plans for exciting future collaborations.
We are determined to return to the 10th edition of the 3D Printing Medical Conference to show our progress with a much more advanced and improved device.
